My Yellow Mickey Mouse Platy gave birth. So far we have 6 little ones. I don't know who the father is yet. The one little bugger was hard to catch. It kept to side of the tanks in the gravel. I finally caught it. I got them in a 5 gallon tank that we are going to use for our nursery. Recently lost Guppy, Jewel Tetra, and Yellow Sunburst Platy. Now I got free replacements. Gosh, have to wait for that puffer tank.

I'm giving all my fish to Pat's son. We are moving back to Florida at the beginning of the month. I will be a lot further away.
Don't want to get into the details why but just want to get away from the stress.
I used to live in Brooklyn, and the Bronx. I love the catskills this time of year.

well at least you will have nicer weather down there. My wife and kids and I just moved up to NY, east of Buffalo not too long back. Not even close to the bronx...lol

Now we took notice to more fry swimming in the tank. The one person who works at the local pet store came by to see them to help identify the black fry. In addition to the Platy fry, I've got Peppered Cory Catfish fry. Wow, that was a surprise for us. We are heading for Texas instead. Got some friends there that will help us get settled down. We lost the Mickey Platy the other day, the mother to the platy fry. We lost all the fish but the fry, I don't know what is up with the tank but all the fry are thriving.
