Okay, in the near future I'm planning a puffer tank.
I forget the recipe for salt water. What was it?
? cups to ?gallons of water = salt water
Plus, what would it be for brackish water.
Stores around here don't sell freshwater puffers just brackish and salt puffers.
Looking into either type but will comfortable in a 35 gallon tank.

Ah ha!! I was wondering how LONG it would tank U to want a salt tank.. so the guppy deal did not work out? bummer. I like them and I wish I had a tank just for some fancies!! Aw well.. Here on the salt deal for a Brackish tank: Salt: Around 1-2 tbl of marine salt per gallon of water or a specific gravity of 1.005-1.010 will be adequate for the full lives of most of these fish. Green Spotted Puffers prefer saltier conditions with around 3-5 tablesthingys of marine salt per gallon of water or a specific gravity of 1.010-1.020. REMEMBER TO USE SEA Salt, NOT AQUARIUM SALT!! That is what makes this so expensive to do!! i would have a 15gal if I thought I could do it fairly cheap.. Maybe later on!! O and u can click on the fish names to get a pic of them in recommended species for tank size. GREAT on that!! Badmans tropical is a great place for GREAT info on ANY fish species.. I just dont' like the "pop ups" that come UP on this site.. SO BE WARNED NOW!! YES I took that from a site. See here on more info.. badmanstropicalfish.com/brackish/brackish.html
